Dedicated to telling the story of the Bank of England from its foundation to the present day, the Bank of England Museum is a unique museum found near the Bank in England in Central London.
Find out about the Bank’s history, how currency works and the people who worked there. See different designs of bank notes and other items of money from over the years. Either way, there’s plenty to do here for those interested in London’s ever changing financial scene.
Open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends and bank holidays. Entrance is entirely free.
Note: The Bank of London Museum is currently closed for maintenance until the 31st of March 2014.
