The Design Museum, is a London museum devoted to all kinds of design. Opened in 1989, it includes furniture, lighting, domestic appliances and technology from the 1900s to the present, showcasing the changes in design philosophies and trends that have happened since. The Design Museum is open on all bank and national holidays except Christmas Day and Boxing Day. On Christmas Eve, it closes early at 2pm.
