The King’s Head is a fairly unassuming Victorian pub on a corner in Crouch End, but go beneath the pubbish exterior and in the basement you’ll find one of London’s oldest comedy clubs. Run since its conception by Peter Grahame, it holds a few comedy nights a week that demonstrate a fantastic range of comedic talent. Comedy Try Out Night brings sixteen comics to the stage, trying out new material. Comedy Cabaret books 6 or 7 big names, and Variety Cabaret brings a mixed bag of stand up and cabaret to the stage. Lots and lots of acts, and value for money too – it’s a great venue.
