A bar-cafe-deli-diner, Giant Robot covers all its bases as an Italian American restaurant. They start at 10am with brunch and lunch, which consists of fry ups, omelets and hash, whereas dinner features their steaks, balls & sliders, salads and their famous burgers. They do take out for a working lunch, with fresh-roasted local coffee too. The bar serves cocktails and decent prices, and the list is largely comprised of American classics (manhattans, long islands and the like), but also sees a few beers and Italian wines in there. It’s got a brick and tin feel to it which they pull off as cosy and fairly intimate. It’s a nice looking place with a solid and filling menu that won’t destroy your wallet – very nice.
