The Hampstead Museum is a small museum located in the historic Burgh House. Located on the first floor of the building, it contains over 3000 objects relating to art and life in Hampstead and shows the history of Hampstead from prehistoric times to the modern day.
There are works by CRW Nevinson, Fred Uhlman and variouus local artists (like Sidney Arrobus, Mari I’anson and P.F. Naylor), as well as a small oral history collection. The house itself also hosts private events, meetings, exhibitions and concerts.
Entrance is free, as are many events.
