About

One of the most remarkable buildings of the nineteenth century, the Lighton House Museum was the home of the Victorian artist Lord Leighton (1830-1896) and contains a fascinating collection of paintings and sculptures by him. It also has mosaics and walls lined with beautiful Islamic tiles as well as numerous paintings by contemporaries such as Burne-Jones, Millais and Alma-Tadema.

Entry fees are £5 per adult and £3 for those with concessions (such as people over 60 or under 16 and full time students).
