A museum dedicated to the British armed forces and based in the Chelsea area of London, the National Army Museum is a place filled with information about the history of warfare in the UK.
There’s information about the army and the wars it was involved in during the olden days. There’s plenty of information about World War 1 and World War 2 (complete with exhibits about identifying soldiers killed in action and early plastic surgery). And there’s information about more modern conflicts too, with some exhibits covering the Falklands War, Gulf War and current war in Afghanistan.
Definitely a museum for anyone interested in warfare to check out.
The museum is run by the British Army, open all days of the year (except Christmas Eve to Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) and is entirely free to visit.
