About
Throughout the night of Saturday 20th September, from 7pm-7am, the highly successful Nuit Blanche Video returns to London for the second year running. Members of the public will be led by the festival’s Co-Curator and Culture Editor-in-Chief at French Radio London Maïa Morgensztern, co-Curators Yasmine Datnow and Marie Shek, to view works of international artists in the windows of established galleries, cultural institutions and selected businesses. They will include Sprüth Magers, Victoria Miro and White Cube, fashion emporium Lanvin, Brown’s Hotel, auction houses Bonhams and Phillips, Piccadilly boutique La Maison Maille and cultural institutions such as The Fleming Collection and more.
Focusing on the moving image, Nuit Blanche Video takes a look at ‘The World We Live In’ through the eyes of Contemporary Artists. For one night only, the selected venues will screen videos by esteemed artists such as Tracey Emin, Mat Collishaw, Elmgreen & Dragset, Gregor Hildebrandt and Fischli/Weiss.
