The name of this shop doesn’t quite explain its purpose. Yes, it used to be a printers and stationers, but that was long ago. Now, it’s a wine shop! Opened by owner and champagne expert Augustin in 2011, it deals largely in French wines, reflecting Augustin’s country of origin. The shop itself is very eccentric, as you’d expect from a place with such a misleading name. When you wander in you’re greeted by a room that could be an antique shop, old book shop, even a messy old collectors house. You can have a seat in the old leather couch and sample the wines, or head back to the bar area for a larger choice by the bottle and some food platters. It’s a quaint little place with a great atmosphere, and you’ll find some decent wines at an affordable price.
