About
After two years of writing, performing and slow cooking her songs Rachel Rose is delighted to be releasing her debut album. Her sound is hybrid alternating pop, Soul, and R&B with an up-tempo, blues funk and Soul vibe. In pretty Damn Specials she lets loose to take you into a pressure cooker of emotions. Then from the haunting devastation of My Guy to the cheeky Motown vibe of Trouble and soaring cheeriness of Higher, the album has a narrative drawn from living, loving and learning.
Her powerful vocals slide from rock and soul swing and shout to a haunting Celtic vibrato described as astounding, beautiful and inspirational.
Looking forward to having Rachel Rose to be my support on tour! She’s a creditable up and coming artist. Her music and vocals speak volumes. She is one to watch!“
