After the Great Fire of London in 1666, St. Paul’s Cathedral was rebuilt by Christopher Wren. The world famous dome is an iconic landmark in London’s skyline. The Prince and Princess of Wales married here, and the cathedral also held Winston Churchill’s funeral. Climb the dome to the Whispering Gallery; if you whisper on one side of the dome it can be heard on the opposite side nearly 100 feet away! Even higher lies the Golden Gallery where you can enjoy incredible views of London. Under the cathedral you’ll find the crypt, where several historic figures are buried including the cathedral’s architect Sir Christopher Wren, Admiral Lord Nelson and the Duke of Wellington.
