The Cutty Sark was the fastest tea clipper in her time, over 140 years ago. Damaged by fire in 2007, the Cutty Sark has been reopened in April 2012 in a new technologically inspired display designed to tell you the complete story of the ship and her cargo.
You can walk on the ship, inside the ship and even underneath the ship, as she is suspended above the docks to allow visitors to examine her hull. Televisual displays give you information and quizzes, while staff can give you tours and information on the times in which the Cutty Sark sailed the seas.
Aside from the ship itself, there is also a cafe for refreshment and gift shop to commemorate your visit. If you find yourself around the Greenwich docks then see for yourself – the ship is an impressive site.
