TOM STADE ‘You’re Welcome!’ UK Tour 2015/1016

About

‘…Every inch a star….super confidence and charisma… If comedy is the new rock ‘n’ roll then Tom Stade is Keith Richards’ DAILY RECORD 
Back on the road after the sell-out success of his month-long run at the Edinburgh Festival earlier this year, epic Canadian Tom Stade brings his brand new show to venues across the UK. ‘You’re Welcome’ is the sequel to ‘Decisions, Decisions’ that toured the UK taking in over 70 dates. The new tour starts on 16th December at Wolverhampton’s Wulfren Hall and culminates 60 dates later on 28th May at Barnsley’s Civic. The tour includes 6 dates at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 1st & 2nd and 6th – 9th April. People of the UK and surrounding areas, “You’re Welcome!”

“Unmissable” EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS 

So what’s the new show about? In Tom’s own words: “It’s comedy and it’s really funny and it’s a whole new show. People always ask that question and I’m always blown away by that. It’s stand-up comedy. I don’t do themes. I do funny.” With this refreshingly straightforward approach, and completely at ease in his own skin, Tom’s simple agenda is to make his audience laugh. With skillful interaction, Tom welcomes audiences into his world, striding the stage with his trademark rock ‘n’ roll attitude and copious amounts of charm.

“….expect to be shocked…expect to guffaw with laughter…expect him to be sold out soon so get your tickets now” HERALD 

Originally from British Columbia, Tom is now a full time resident of the UK. Like most things that have happened in his life so far; the move happened by complete fluke; he arrived with no plan, and never left “because things are way better here than they are in Canada”. Bestowed with an easy-going nature and an appetite for adventure, Tom approaches life with a carefree and positive attitude; never looking too far ahead. After a decade on UK shores, Tom now considers himself truly ‘one of us’. In the show, he playfully explores his escalating Britishness, finding a rich source of material in the differences between the UK and his homeland; citing everything from crossing the road (jay-walking in his native Canada) to the daytime TV shows he has become so fascinated by.

‘Tom Stade is one of hottest and most original stand ups of the moment’ HEAT

Fans of previous shows will be pleased to hear that Tom continues to embrace his crazy and unconventional life; to hilarious effect. With complete candour, he gleefully revels in his own shortcomings and inadequacies, playfully subverting his reckless image, and proving we’re all equally fallible. Expect the customary Stade flair; uncompromising humour, insatiable mischief and heaps of inspired audience interaction. Truly an original voice, and a master of his craft; catch this superstar as he continues to storm the global comedy scene.

“Likability in Spades….Stade’s easy going style is hard to resist’ SCOTSMAN 

A natural on camera, Tom Stade’s effortless charm has translated perfectly onto the small screen, and he’s appeared on every major stand-up show in the UK. He’s delivered two storming sets on Live at the Apollo, and has also performed on The John Bishop Show, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Lee Mack’s All Star Cast, Dave’s One Night Stand and Ch4’s Comedy Gala and Boyle Variety Performance. He is co-writer of Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights, and has his own online sitcom with Daniel Sloss’ intriguingly entitled M.U.F.F.

“…huge presence…really knows how to work a room…attitude and energy…
properly hilarious, thoroughly enjoyable”
MIRROR
