On Remembrance Sunday afternoon (9 November) at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Choral Society, London Philharmonic Orchestra and a stellar line up of soloists including legendary baritone Bryn Terfel give a one-off performance of Benjamin Britten’s War Requiem, to mark the centenary of the First World War.
Matching outstanding music and occasion with charitable cause, all proceeds from this landmark commemorative concert will go to Veterans Aid, the charity for ex-servicemen and women, making it a uniquely poignant performance in the centenary year. http://www.royalchoralsociety.co.uk/war-requiem.php
